"Alright" vs. "All right"

I wrote "Are you alright?" in the title of the previous article. However, it seems that "Are you all right?" is correct.

I wonder what the difference is between them.

    There is no difference between "all right" and "alright."

    However, "alright" is not a real English word. People spell it like this very often but it is not recognized as official English. The correct words to use are "all right."

    "Alright" is kind of like slang.
