Oh, it must mean dollar.
I checked "box" in a dictionary. But there wasn't a meaning of dollar.
Next, I checked dollar".
Oh, "buck"! I see. It was "200 bucks" and "a couple of bucks". I didn't know this word.
I can learn new words from English dramas.

How about 100 "smackers", "clams" or "big ones"? Is there slang for Japanese yen?
I hadn't heard those words. According to a dictionary, pounds is also called smackers. I wonder if there is any relation between smackers and bills.
Clams is clam of clam chowder, isn't it. Old time ago, human used to use shells for money, so it makes sense!
Big ones? Does is also mean dollars? Or I wonder if it means 100 dollars because a word "big" is used.
I haven't heard such a slang for Japanese yen. But some (a few) people in some world, such as the show business, say 1pon, 2hon, 3bon... for 10 thousand yen, 20 thousand yen, 30 thousand yen.
