Armando Galarraga of Detroit Tigers nearly pitched a perfect game. Only one more out!!!!!
The article on the Yahoo News:

I feel very sorry for Armando. But actually I also feel sorry for the umpire Jim Joyce.
Thinking of his feeling, I really pity him.

Unbelievable! Hopefully it never happens again. =)
I hope it never happens again, too.

I wonder if MLB will start to use replay. It's still controversial though.
Thank you for the interesting article!
MLB does use replay, but only in cases involving scoring. I think they should also use it for plays that could end a game such as this. Even if this hadn't been a perfect same this play would have ended the game. Suppose the Indians rallied to win this game after the bad call? I'm from the Detroit area and almost went to this game. Jim Joyce was the most hated man in Detroit that day and many still won't forgive him. I saw his address and phone number on a few different blogs. I wonder how many threats he got?
whoops! I meant perfect game not perfect same.. So much for my proofreading skills..笑
Oh! His address and phone number were on blogs? His family must be in big trouble.
