Whenever I watch the news about abductions of Japanese by North Korea, I can always hear adopt/adoption instead of abduct/abduction. Always. Although I know they are talking about the abduction issue.
There is similar situation.
Whenever I hear advertise/advertisement, I can always hear apatise/apatisement or something.
Is it only me who feel "b" of "abduct" and "d" of "advertise" is almost unsounded?

During my last visit to Japan, when i ate at Moss Burger, whenever an employee would say "ありがとう ございます"、 it was really hard for me to hear the "ありがとう" part because they say it so fast! All I could hear was "...ございます", and it was a busy day, so i would here that over and over: "ございます" "ございます" "ございます" "ございます" "ございます". Haha, it will take a long time to train my ears to Japanese ^_^
When someone says "ありがとうございました", even I can hear "あした!" (^o^)
In Japanese words, a lot of sound vanishes, as well as English. It's very hard for non-native speakers to catch such a conversation, isn't it?
