It's the Doyo no Ushi day (the day of the ox in midsummer) today. I don't know the origin of it. It is Japanese traditional day and we eat broiled eel at the day. It is said that eel is good for prevention of summer weariness. It's the wisdom of the people of the past.
I ate it today of course. Eel is not reasonable food though...
